How your rent and data are protected
Payments are handled by Stripe. Rent goes to the landlord's own bank account, we take no cut, and we never see card or bank details.
How rent moves
- 1
Tenant pays
The tenant pays rent by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay on Stripe's secure checkout.
- 2
Stripe processes it
Stripe handles the card details. NexusProperty.App never sees or stores card numbers.
- 3
Landlord gets paid
Once the landlord has connected their bank, the rent goes to their own Stripe account and on to their bank.
- 4
Everyone gets a record
The payment, receipt and tenant balance update automatically in the app.
Until a landlord connects their bank, payments are still accepted safely through Stripe and recorded, so tenants are never blocked from paying.
We never hold your rent
Rent is paid as a Stripe Connect payment to the landlord's own account. It doesn't sit in a NexusProperty.App balance waiting to be passed on.
0% platform fee on rent
We don't take a cut of rent. You pay a flat monthly plan; Stripe's own standard card processing fees apply.
Bank and card details stay with Stripe
Landlords enter bank details on Stripe's own onboarding pages, and tenants enter card details on Stripe's checkout. Stripe is PCI DSS certified. We only keep a payment reference for receipts.
Each workspace's records are separate
Every request is checked against your sign-in, and each organisation's records are separated in the database so one workspace can't read another's. Tenants see only their own home, rent and messages.
Your data isn't sold or used for ads
Data goes only to the providers needed to run the service, such as Stripe and our hosting provider. Your records are not used to train third-party AI models.
