NexusProperty.App exists because managing rentals with the legacy portals felt like doing paperwork with your hands tied. So we built the software we wanted to use.
Why we started
Like most landlords, we started out managing our own properties. The rent, the repairs, the certificates, the messages — all of it was scattered across email threads, spreadsheets and whatever portal the estate agent happened to use.
The established platforms — AppFolio, Buildium and their peers — were built for large agencies, and it shows. Pricing that's only available on a sales call. Fees for every extra user. Setup that takes weeks. And a tenant experience straight out of the 2000s: log in on a laptop, fill in a web form, wait.
Tenants already live on their phones. AI can triage a repair from a voice note better than a triage form ever could. Rent can land directly in a landlord's bank account without a middleman taking a cut. None of that needed inventing — it just needed putting together properly, and pricing it honestly.
